Time, however, did the Piedmontese soprano justice: thanks to her flawless technique and constant practising, in 1994, at the distinguished age of eighty-three, she was able to stun the world of opera with a recording of excerpts from her favourite work, Adriana Lecouverur. It was a small but well-deserved revenge for the lack of interest of record companies, who unfortunately failed to document in an appropriate way her formidable artistic parabola.
